Should your ATS product require service during the limited warranty period:
Upon receipt and inspection, should Australian Touch Systems determine that your product(s) is not covered by the stated warranty, you will be notified immediately. Upon notification, should you wish to have your product(s) repaired, you will be required to issue a valid purchase order to cover the cost of repair and return freight. After receiving the PO Australian Touch Systems will provide a firm estimate for the repair for approval prior to completing the actual work. This service will be provided either at current Flat Rate charges or Time and Material charges as is applicable to the product returned.
Should Australian Touch Systems determine that the product returned has no detectable defect or we are unable to duplicate the fault, you will be notified and a Bench Fee equal to 1 hour of labor may be charged.
Follow the general procedure described above indicating that your product is not covered by the limited warranty. Provide the representative with a valid PO or credit card number for billing purposes. All Out of Warranty service is provided at the then current Flat Rate or Time and Material charges as is applicable to the product(s) being returned, or service requested.
The customer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges for Out of Warranty service.
Australian Touch Systems makes no warranties other than those expressly stated above, verbal or implied, with the regard to the products or services provided, including but not limited to claims of merchantability or fitness for a specific purpose. Australian Touch Systems shall not be liable for claims of other damages including claims of lost business profits, loss of use, inconvenience or any other damages incidental, consequential or otherwise.
The Australia Touch Systems Pty. Ltd. limited warranty excludes failure resulting from:
Improper use or installation
Repair, alteration or modification of the product by anyone other than ATS
Accident, abuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning or other acts of nature
Causes external to the product(s)
Breakage or physical scratches of the Sensor
Other factors beyond the control of ATS Pty. Ltd.
